Paul, Some important factors to consider here is timimg. You must buy the stock on the day FORBES is released in Decemberand sell the the reccommmendation from the previous year that day as well (correct me if i'm worong). It's not an exact science...but..the numbers will look very, very close to Van Brady's. (I say it's not an exact science b/c who is necessarily going to get the closing prices on that day?) For example, these prior picks are no longer in the "portfolio" (sounds silly since it's only one stock in the portfolio...but it's definitely not silly making money!)
