<< Well, we all know the ramifications of any significant KM licensing down the road. Can't help but dream.>>

Mymy, me too Sean. Good to see you posting again.

Well, it has been a mighty long Valley Forge winter ( to cite your metaphor ) and the valley has deepened...we must be close to China by now.

This KM patent update does sound like an improvement, though I sure cannot evaluate. But if the standard heads still have to be modified to use KM ...... ? KM does what it does, but we all know now that with the in the present climate none of the drive makers wanted to take any chances with it to gain an edge, particularly with MR capacities giving them all ample ability to meet their various roadmaps.

For any recent purchasers of AXC who wish to share in that shattered dream ......if one drive maker were to change their mind and incorporate KM the stock would be from 5 to 10 within a few weeks. If several chose to do so at some point, 25 or much higher. No exaggeration there at all.
Absolutely not counting on it .... clearly the company is not either ... but if I were AXC I would tug on various drivemaker's sleeves every now and then and remind them it is there. Any surprise like that would be the Deus Ex Machina this long sad tale has been looking for.
Noticed, BTW, in a skimming of the Q that .... unless I missed it ... they no longer speak of a possible redesign of DCT for digital standards. Bramson does again mention the introduction new products
though, implying ( to my eye anyway) some will be from AXC. New products not limited to MicroNet.
