Jeffrey: <<Well, what do you think Bears.... is it time for you to say "I Love AMAT?">>

Well, I for one am glad that I am no longer the only shrill on board. Plenty other voices around to sound the bear's din against the bull's clamor <ggg>

Given that I have made the most noise about the fundamentals, I'll say here that ON THE SURFACE their purported order numbers sound great! I look forward to listening to the call. But I don't understand this sudden enfatuation w/ BTB's. BTB's don't mean nothin' when there is a significant inflection point on either the numerator (orders) or the denominator. We are at an inflection point for both.

Does this (or any of the other important operating information to be had in the conference call) have anything to do with whether the stock price will go up or down? No. This stock has and will continue to prove otherwise. All a 'fundamentalist' can do is listen to the sage opinions of Paul, Gottfried, Tito and others and decide whether or not to ride. 'nuff said.
