Any idea what would be a acceptable number of hits for a PC with the previous specs (350mhz,, 64mb of RAM) could comfortably handle at one time?? Assuming I have a typical size web page,, say 2-5mb?? Also how would you increase the performance of my "server" ,, faster processor,, more RAM??

p.s. regarding cost effectivness,, with the tech available today hosting your own web site/s seems very cost effective.....assuming you already have a fast hook-up to the net.

Any comment welcome.
