Tip, maybe AG knows something about how many other LTCM's are out there and is afraid of the size of the "little bit of contraction" that would occur. Obvious now what kind of leverage is being used to inflate the assets. And I just read a couple weeks ago the average number of credit cards per household is eleven! Why not shoot the works & just declare bankruptcy if one is among those with the negative savings rate Bill mentioned recently? What does one have to lose when bankruptcy protects the downside and AG protects the upside? Not a pretty picture.

regards,
Tom
