Brian,

Is there a "rule of thumb" for timing related to filling a gap? I could see it being useful intraday or over a few days, but in a years time, many stocks will fill a gap due to general price fluctuation. Unfortunately, that doesn't help if I want to use it to set a buy limit...obviously I don't want to wait 6 months to buy something that is good from a fundamental standpoint.
