Both Showed Revenue Growth in Excess of 10,000 Percent

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1998--Netsmart
Technologies Inc. [Nasdaq:NTST - news] of Islip, N.Y. and Progenics
Pharmaceuticals Inc. [Nasdaq:PGNX - news] of Tarrytown, N.Y. lead 15
New York-based companies on the Fourth Annual Technology Fast 500
listing announced Tuesday by Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Both companies showed growth in excess of 10,000 percent. Four New York-based companies were among the top 100.
Ranking for the Fast 500 is based on percentage growth in revenue over a five-year period (1993 to 1997).

''The incredible growth of the New York-based companies contributed to the Northeast's outpacing the average U.S.
growth,'' said Mark A. Evans, managing director of Deloitte & Touche's High Technology Industry Group in San Jose,
Calif. ''The Northeast showed an average 3,035 percent jump in revenues, compared to the average growth rate of 2,958
percent for the entire United States.''

Ranked the 18th fastest growing technology company in the country, Netsmart Technologies, a software company,
showed a growth of 13,728 percent, increasing from $57,000 in 1993 to $7,882,000 in 1997. Progenics
Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company, ranked No. 25 with a growth of 11,328 percent, moving from $134,000 in
1993 to $15,313,000 in 1997.

Also among the top 100 companies were No. 39-ranked CellularVision USA Inc., a communications company based in
Brooklyn, N.Y., which showed a 8,887 percent growth, with revenues increasing from $55,000 in 1993 to $4,943,000
in 1997. Boundless Corp. [Nasdaq:BDLS - news], a computer and peripherals company based in Hauppauge, N.Y. was
ranked Number 99, with a 3,392 percent growth in revenues, from $2,814,000 in 1993 to $98,271,000 in 1997.

The number one-ranked company on the Fast 500 for 1998 is Advanced Fibre Communications [Nasdaq:AFCI - news]
Inc., a communications company in Petaluma, Calif., which showed a revenue growth increase of 43,103 percent. The
company's revenues moved from $620,000 in 1993 to $267,858,000 in 1997.

Thirteen percent of the New York-based winners appear on the Fast 500 list for the third consecutive year (1996, 1997,
and 1998) while 33 percent appear for the second consecutive year (1997 and 1998).

The 15 New York-based companies on the 1998 Fast 500 listing are listed in order of ranking, based on percentage
growth in revenue over a five-year period (1993 to 1997):
