Waldeen, i was at a mall today, a real one. At about 1;30 pm on a weekday, the place was very busy. Lots of young moms with their kids, lots of mid-age women, retired people hanging out, and people like me on lunch break just checking things out.
It is not even Thanksgiving yet, after which things will really get hopping.
The Electronics Boutique, which I own stock in, was busy, with some folks asking the staff questions about different software products. (how would they do that "on-line" ??)
Bought a pair of winter gloves at a discount store, after waiting in line at the checkout, with three registers going. Even though I usually get in the wrong line <g>, I was still impressed with how busy the mall was.
Maybe all these folks' pc's were not working today, so they were forced to go out and shop and hang out in real life. hmmmm.
