len, did you find the article I posted on Eastman Kodak?

I think digital cameras will be a huge success. I also recall from reading an article in Barrons on Hewlett that EK and HWP are collaborating on this "adventure".

From what I have read, you will be able to buy an HWP printer that you can load with photographic paper.

So besides sending your pictures to friends via e-mail, or posting them on the net, you will be able to print, at least drug-store quality photos directly from your computer.

Doesn't it sound exciting?

I am so fed up with dragging rolls of film around. We never put them through the x-ray machines when we are out of the country, so in places, like Hong Kong, the security people have always opened every box of unexposed film, looked inside, then snapped a picture of us, to make sure that we really had film in our camera.

It will be so much easier with a digital camera because you will not have to carry those clunky boxes of film.
