Believe it or not folks but it looks like MMR might be waking up very soon. Here is what I learned from MMR IR staff and reported on the MMR SI board...

Just got off the phone with Stephanie. She was her carefully worded self (which can easily be expected), but what she said to me reflects why the MMR stock price is starting to move upward.

There is something going down IMO. She admitted that she cant say what it is until both sides sign on the dotted line. It has to do with a Consumer product and this consumer product has a Canadian MARKET (unlike the half-cocked Magnum deal they supposedly had planned for the China market).

I tried pressing her on when us stockholders would see anything. She said pretty soon because the deal has some type of time restrictions. Her last sentence to me (and I think she slipped it out completely by accident) is "Wait a week". I dont even know if she meant a week in the literal sense or not but I took it that way.

In talking about the movement on the stock she said that possibly some promoters or insiders have got wind of the deal and that could the possible movement.

As for the magnum deal, its in complete limbo. MMR supposedly is waiting for Magnum and Magnum supposedly says they have delivered what was asked of them. Forget about it - in my opinion.

The China oil deal is still being negotiated but MMR does not like the depletion level. There still is hope (according to Whellan) that re-perforation might recover much of the advanced depletions, but the jury is out and MMR & the Chinese are at loggerheads on
this issue.

Another bit of good news is that supposedly MMR is seeking to re-write their prospectus with the VSE to move their prime business industry from Minerals to something more diversified. The oil industry is a lame duck in the current markets and this is especially true for micro-juniors like MMR. I told her that I liked to hear that admission and a plan of action away from their current direction.

It was a good talk and made me feel a bit hopeful for once in a long time about MMR. In talking to Stephanie so many times I got the sense that even she was more optimistic about MMR!

Sounds good folks!

Now we must find out what this deal is about. Hopefully we wont have to wait any more than a week.

Thats what I have learned. Keep your eyes on this one for the next 2 weeks.
