AVCO vs. AOL is a lousy analogy. Asyst does not swamp PRIA. In fact, PRIA is bigger than ASYT. Further, it would appear that each would like to be bigger in overlapping areas not in discrete markets. Plus the fact that 300mm is the next big growth phase where Asyst's domination is not established and where competition will assert itself.
Of course, one could ignore that and just think about "what was" in 150 and 200mm. Clearly 200mm's days aren't over yet and Asyst should do well in 300mm too unless they turn idiotic. I was just trying to answer the question about competition and counter the impression that Asyst is some kind of huge juggernaut mowing down its enemies with ease.
