Gus, I agree with you about a restatement of a previous filing. I believe this is just procedural and does not change the fundamentals of the company. I do not look to much in to the sec filings other than to see about the recent developments,etc. This would give me to much information overload. I look more at the BIG PICTURE. Is this a strength or a weakness when investing? However, I was looking over some of my COMPANY BRIEFING BOOKS from the WSJ interactive and I did notice there has been some ADDITION OF SOME INSTITIONIONAL INVESTORS since NOV. 22nd, 1996! SIX more had jumped on the AMPEX EXPRESS up till today<26 from 20>. Also, I asked Ken why there wasn't more price action following the first announcement of a KM deal and he thought it was because there were no $$$ signs to it as of yet. However, he was very optimistic that there may bigger numbers this year than what most people believe. Also, he used IOMEGA as an analogy to AMPEX. In the context that most people need to have real numbers in front of them before they really believe. This is what we are all wanting to happen, of course! However the ones who believe in the technology today will reap the most rewards tomorrow. And no, nothing can put a damper on my weekend(4 day one)! Time has been a friend to us all. Just remember to DIVERSIFY. With the extra money you make with your other companies you can BUY MORE AMPEX. I AM. Only my wife is disappointed with me being on this silly computer. We'll leave it at that! Gotta go for now. john anderson
