Doc: The following is from a Bloomberg article on performance of the Indonesian market Wednesday on interim basis:

"In Indonesia, the Jakarta Composite soared 13.45 points, or
3.8 percent to 369.39 on government share buying, traders said.

Local brokerages dominated the buying, pushing shares higher
on governments instructions. Buy orders from the government are
channeled through brokerages other than state-owned ones -- such
as Bahana Securities and Danareksa Sekuritas -- to disguise the
origin of the orders, the traders said. Bahana and Danareksa were
also among the top buyers of the largest stocks"

Makes one wonder how long the current gains will last.
