If you saw the CEO of Williams Sonoma on CNBC the other day, you might see why.
He was questioned mostly on the Fed Ex situation and how it affects his company.
Said W.S. ships 90% of packages via FDX, and has done so for a long time, and still is committed to ship thusly, and is confident that FDX will still deliver, whatever might happen.
It appears that many of the rank and file of land workers is not that sympathetic to the "plight" of the pilots, many or most of whom book salaries in excess of 100 K per year. Pilots constitute 2% of the work force, their land counterparts 98%.
