If it true that the bombers were actually in the air then the timing of the letter needs to be examined a little. It was just too perfectly timed to cause maximum frustration to the US/UK. Now how did Sadam know that the attack was under-way? Did someone with a good military satellite and comms system tell him? Who has sych systems other than US/UK? Well the French have it and so do the Russians. Would Sadam be prepared to handsomely reward someone who tipped him off? The cat and mouse game will continue until Saddam has perfected his biological weapons and their delivery system. That has been the main focus of his attention since the day he lost the Gulf War. Soon these weapons will be ready and then unfortunately we will pay the price of playing games with him and his French and Russian friends. Regards, L
