Another CNBC segment on cashless society @ 6:51 A.M. (EST) this morn. Microsoft got almost all the publicity, CKFR never mentioned. Smart cards trashed, almost all agree on internet bill delivery, background pix on Citibank, MSFT and Quicken. At one point, they said Microsoft could become the biggest bank in America (liked that one!), but MSFT spokesman quickly said no fear, MSFT has no intention of entering the financial services industry stressing how they can reach out to a broad web audience. Trashpoint (sic) wins again.
