Susan, I would really like the specifics of your '1 pgm' fix. Here is my challenge to you: Find me one programmer, and I mean a COBOL programmer that I can talk to who knows the difference between an INLINE PROCEDURE and an IN STREAM PROC' who believes that this problem is overblown and I will reconsider my position. But as a programmer working for the last 20 years on mainframe systems I am convinced that this is the biggest challenge we have ever faced. In any event, anybody familiar with the industry knows that changing code is the easy part. It is the coordination, testing and moving into production that is the killer. Egads - one pgm, and this from a (no insult intended) a peon. I would suggest you do your research very carefully before you invest too much. Good luck - marshall
