My fiance works for GRC. The division she works for (PSO) and the contract she works on supports the Secretary of Defense and supposedly "carries" the company, as it has been the only profitable segment of the company recently.
The R&D division has had problems getting commercial acceptance of OSU, a telecommunication switching unit that she says is too sophisticated for the industry use at this time.
Sounds like propaganda to me.
If you follow the stock, you've noticed a rather preciptious price decline recently. It's a a volatile thing.
She's only heard there's been a "possibility" of Lucent acquiring it; no details about that.
This stock decline has happened many times in the past and GRC is still in business.
