I posted this on Yahoo and was wondering if I could get some responses from investors here...

Anything Dividend...

So here's what happened. An investor is scrolling the news stories and sees that Banyan is giving away
shares of Anything Internet for shareholders on November 3rd. So the investor buys in at 0.36, waits for
the date to pass, and sells at ???(i'm not sure, but it was above 0.36). So, the value of the investor's
investment isn't discounted by the dividend. Essentially, the investor got a free 31% increase in capital
(based on 45-for-1 distribution of Anything Internet valued at $5). Here's my question: how often does a
stock dividend of this nature happen and how would an investor go about searching for this type of
dividend? That's a helluva return for that amount of time. Even one deal like that every year will beat the
major fund managers, but imagine if you could find one per month or even one per week.

Any thoughts on this subject???
