That makes sense. Amazon and Yahoo! have traded close to each other over time. Many of us thought that Amazon would break that pattern and YHOO would diverge higher. My guess is that Amazon will stay bellow Yahoo! but trade up toward it. The sales story looks positive (from the market's perspective) but the margins and increased competition cloud the picture. My sense of the "picture" is that it looks exciting to many investors but not as compelling as Yahoo!

Amazon is trading up 14 1/2 - by your guess near it's high for the day.

My guess is that we see a pull-back after the rush this morning - back to the 155 range.
