9r, interesting stuff! The bottom line is Japanese are buying US paper -- which keeps US interest rates down, which fuels US stock market, which keeps you and me invested. So why should Fed change anything? The current climate is great for us, and I don't feel too sad for them.

Thanks for short-term prognosis. BTW, are you financial historian? Or J.P Morgan contemporary <G>?
