Pride and Arrogance Goeth Before the Fall....

>>Well if MSFT is saying that they wont support Java on their Browser and we all know that Java is now an integral part of the Internet, then MSFT has just done NSCP a HUGE favour. Because IE customers now have a reason not to be complacent (i.e. lazy) and will take the time to dump their IE browser and move to NSCP browser.>>

This is incredible!! I love it!

Look at the magnitude of what's happening. By his actions, Gates has just cut the legs out from under his ENTIRE franchise.

The entire IS/IT world has got to be swimming towards this blood. We are witnessing a technological sharkfeast that's has MASSIVE negative longterm implications for Microsoft.

We've found the hole in the dike and now the dike has burst.

If I were long Microsoft I would seriously consider the implications of Gates' arrogance. Coming right smack in the middle of COMDEX makes for a facinatingly ironic and historical time for technology watchers.

I think Gates has CHECKMATED his own company. Amazing to ponder these things. He should really be rocking in his chair today.

Where Do You Want To Go Today Bill???
