11/18/98 - Ukraine gold reserve grows to 3,400 kilos. <Picture> KIEV, November 18 (Itar-Tass) - Gold reserve of the National Bank of Ukraine grew in January-September by almost 1.5 tonnes to 3.4 tonnes, the bank"s release told on Wednesday. Ukraine is replenishing its gold reserve by developing own deposits, processing non-jewelry gold, and purchasing precious metals from its residents.
