Joey,
Most of the good news about AMD (Chip-wise)is out for a while. This concerns the K6-2. Now at 400MHz and projected sales of over 5 million K6s in Q4. The only real concrete (that analysts can grab on to) next thing is the K6-2-450 which as our friends Maxwell and Scumbria alluded to as a "piece of cake. Then there are the announcements of OEMs using the 400 but that's another thing.
The K6-3 and K7 haven't made an appearance yet. No sales, no benchmarks...just "out there somewhere". These may well bouy the stock but likely won't hurl it towards 40 until we start seeing some real silicon. That said, AMD should at least be a "market perform" or better until we get closer to the announcement of the K6-3 and especially the K7. In the mean time, there will be leaks about whos gonna use the K7. These will cause surges and limit downside.
So what am I saying? AMD may not be able to duplicate its move of the last 30 days in the next 30 days...

Regards, Jim
