Are you buying the company or the P/E?

Stock bull:

I don't know about you but when I bought the stock I wasn't buying its P/E but the company.

Fair Value: Don't know what that means, for one thing fair value is what the market is willing to pay for the stock at any given time I think.

I look at it this way, when the company grows its earnings +50% and earnings over +60%, year in and year out, the company deserves a higher P/E.In my book the stock is under valued and if I had anything to do with the P/E it would be a 100 for this kind of growth deserves a premium.Look at them Internut stocks what kinda crappy P/E do they have and hardly any of them makes any money. Can you show me a better Internet stock than DELL? The only difference with DELL is that they make money.

If one likes to invest in P/Es 'Dogpaq',er....Compaq will be better bet they have zero (0) P/E,nada,zilch,nothing.<vbg>

Anyway I don't really care what Merril Lynch said,I don't take any advice from them.
