Thanks, ahaha, I guess I got my terminology wrong. I was thinking that NAPs are part of the backbone. For that reason, I assumed, and still assume that MAE-East is situated in Northern Virginia, in the location I described. Do you know if I am right? If not, where is it? (Oh, among the list of companies I posted before, I left out UUNet. Lots of others, of course).
Sorry, don't know what VPN is. Is it the voice on internet stuff that Frank is following? I don't understand why that is such a big deal. Maybe because I have a very small business, my long-distance bill isn't much. I REALLY REALLY want faster internet access, tho.
I regularly read Boardwatch magazine. Do you think that is a good source to keep up with the technology, if not, can you recommend a better one?
