Have you ever really looked at the names of months and noticed how curious they are? Besides the naming of months like March (Marcus), July (Julius) and August (Augustus) after the Roman emperors, there is a peculiarity that September (meaning 7), October (8), November (9), and December (10) now appear in the 9-12 slots. This is due to the procession of the equinox. If December were in fact the tenth month now as it once was, the first day of the year would be the first day of March. March is the sign of Aries, the Ram, or the Lamb. The Sun rose until the middle of the year, the middle of summer, when he had reached the zenith of his ascension, or the top of the arc of heaven, or the arc of the zodiac, the original ark of animals, and ark of the covenant. In so doing, he was born unto glory in the body of a virgin, Virgo. Following along this restored timeline, we see the Sun balanced at the apex as if on a balance, as in Libra, the scales of justice. Then the Sun is slain by the sting of a scorpion, Scorpio. The last month of the year, and the last supper of the Sun upon the horizontal table of the ecliptic is in Pisces, the fish. After this, the Sun is resurrected again in Aries. This cycle is the origin of the idea of the sacrifice of the Lamb.
Re 19:17 "And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;"
From what I see of the last supper, there where twelve apostles other than Jesus present, twelve signs of the Zodiac, and twelve months in a solar year. At that time, a Hebrew lunar calendar was actually in use (still is). The same situation would apply nonetheless. In reconciling the lunar to the solar, you have alternately 12 or 13 lunar months in a solar year, Christ is either dead, or he is risen.
This is but one example of how the story of Jesus existed long before the Bible of the Romans. It was the Romans who changed some of the month names to obscure the story and honor themselves, yet even they retained much of the story intact within the Bible for those who wish to see it. I am sure you can see how the story above of the Sun is very much like the story of the Son. If you don't recall any scorpions, they are there too.
"Re 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment [was] as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man."
It is five months between Scorpio, and the return of Aries, the Ram or Lamb.
There are "New Age" reinterpretations of man of old information. Some of what is called "New Age" (only to be discriminated from the trash by diligent research) is not only older than, but the model for the Bible. It is the original, and the Bible a copy. The Bible is but another explanation of a phenomenon as old as time, as old as Creation. I don't say this to denigrate anything, on the contrary. To me, seeing this only ADDS another level of spirituality.
Lu 22:20 "Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you."
The universe is the sphere of the heavens. Divided by the plane of the ecliptic, the table of the last supper, the bottom half is a chalice, or cup. The whole is an egg.
Lu 11:11 "What Father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
God was merely explaining to the early peoples the meaning of time, lest they not fear it. This information was originally used by the Egyptians to reckon the impending flooding of the Nile by the appearance of the Dog Star Sirius. To they whose farms and households were flooded and destroyed every year upon the flooding of the Nile delta, this was an annual death and resurrection of utmost importance.
The original New Testament was made in the sky for all to see, and to be reminded with the passage of the year, and the passage of the Sun through the cycle of every day and night, of God and the Son, in all his glory. I don't say this to question or shatter anyone's beliefs, because in my opinion, these ideas would only add to them a deeper level of understanding.
