Xybernaut Corporation (Nasdaq: XYBR ), a pioneer and leader in the wearable computer industry, will go live worldwide on the Internet from the Comdex Show in Las Vegas at 3 PM EST, Wednesday, November 18, to officially launch Xybernaut's newest wearable computer system, the Mobile Assistant(R) IV (MA IV). Kanakaris Communications, Inc. (OTC BB: KANA) is producing the event. It can be seen by anyone with Internet access at www.xybernaut.com and can also be accessed by links from the home pages of several other websites including www.fschannel.com, www.NetBooks.com, www.cyberpop.com, www.kanakaris.com. The event will also be archived for later viewing from the Xybernaut web site.
There will be a hands-on presentation of the new MA IV, with its 233 MHz MMX technology, up to 128 MB memory and 4.3 GB hard drive, all packed into a tiny sub-two pound standard WINTEL belt-worn module. The live presentation will include new marketing announcements and answers to the most frequently asked questions about Xybernaut's wearable computer line. Among features to be presented will be the breakthroughs in speech recognition and flat panel display technology which make the MA IV a real assistant for all kinds of working professionals, even those with little computer knowledge or experience.
Participating in the webcast will be Steven Newman, Vice Chairman and Director, Xybernaut Corporation and several special guests including representatives of En Pointe, Xybernaut's North America marketing, distribution and customer support partner, and Xybernaut's European marketing executives.
The live Internet program, produced for Xybernaut by its new web design and downloadable content partner Kanakaris Communications, Inc. (OTC BB: KANA), comes at a time when interest level in the development of wearable computing and pervasive computing is at a very high level. Xybernaut's MA IV, which is manufactured by a consortium of Japan's most prestigious organizations and is protected by a strong patent position, has the power to let all mobile users in a company participate in business work-flows and electronic information sharing and collection.
