I don't think many here are worried about 2,3,4 day price moves....we are more worried about the fundamentals of the company..which are doing just fine...Based on all current information, Dell should appreciate nicely in the next year..Focus your energy on your portfolio.....
Some internets will crash harder than others....Ironically, Amazon is not the best of examples...they probably will do pretty well in the long-run (albeit with a lot of volatility).....Lucretius, I think you underestimate quality managment......you have done it with Dell.........be careful....Bezos is sharp........he had made an impressive transition to music, vidoes........Bertlesmann is going to come after him hard, though.........I think Ebay, N2K, K-Tel, theglobe.com and some of the 2nd tier search engines are much more likely to crash....If you are going to short, dont go after the leaders...play the weak sisters......(BTW- I don't)
