WalMart and Garth Brooks = +1 1/2 points Garth Brooks has sold 20M of his 80M cds thru WMT stores He gave a one hour closed circuit concert to 2600 WMT stores last night to promote his new cd; probably brought a lot of customers into WMT for shopping ahead of T"day Very smart strategy for both Garth and WMT I read WMT is going online merchandising too Maybe WMT stock will become like the internuts; how about changing the corporate name to Walmart.com? Too bad Walmart has billions in sales and profits; it doesn't fit the internut business model of ? sales and no profits till 2002 Oh well, I'll hold my WMT anyway, even tho it's a turtle vocex
