Yamana Resources Inc - Special warrant financing Yamana Resources Inc YRIShares issued 27,390,8591998-11-17 close $1.1Wednesday Nov 18 1998Ms. Amy Martin reports Yamana Resources is proceeding with a special warrant financing to raise a minimum of $3.0-million and a maximum of $8.0-million at $1.00 per special warrant. The syndicate, consisting of Canaccord Capital and First Marathon Securities, may increase the size of the offering to $9.2-million. Each special warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one unit consisting of one common share and a half warrant. Each whole warrant will entitle the purchaser to acquire one additional common share at $1.30 for 18 months. Closing is anticipated to occur on Nov. 27, 1998. The proceeds will allow the company to continue its exploration and drilling programs on its properties in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina.
