Phil, So this fellow Brown toom others money and placed it in investments, such as MGR etc?
It does not look as if MGR has any dirty hands, nor the others. They sold shares and got paid for them.

It is common for people to place shares in offshore accounts, especially if they expect to profit and not pay the IRS, Rev Canada or other national agency of another country to evade taxes.
germany and many european countries with 75%+ tax brackets have this problem to a high degree. US low, hong kong very low, Canada...medium to high among the ricj\h. That is why the "global asset declaration" has come into being. The French measure your assets and tax them it is so bad there. Of course confiscatory taxes make the people flee. Most confiscatory have the greatest problem.
