VectorVest is a little too cut and dried for my likes. Since TA is a mathematical method to predict mob psychology, I feel you need a human to do a quantitative analysis. However, since it's a computer doing the analysis, it can't eyeball the chart for a gut feeling, roam the chat rooms and peruse the WSJ and CNN to see what's going on in the world. Their analysis is incredibly thorough, however. I'm just not sure it's the best thing for scalpers. (Aren't we?) For folks that are looking for longer-term "value", VectorVest is fantastic.

I'm something of an old-fashioned TA'er, though. I like to print out the charts, get out my straight-edge, my colored pencils and my calculator and go over things with a fine tooth comb. I like to take a look at the charts through squinted eyes to see what it says to me.
