I am pretty up to date with the y2k issues. One of the biggest problems for the oil companies will be at the refineries. Exxon for sure and most of your big multinationals (Shell, Texaco ect) will be ready. What is up for grabs are the refineries that have been nationalized in some of the countries, i.e. Mexico, Venezula, Saudi Arabia. These may not be getting the attention that they should. Having said that I have a lot of money (1/2 my retirement) in Exxon stock. I will leave it where it is. The y2k problems will only help the companies that are ready.
