Why not ??

Between Sept and end of Nov of '96, price went from ~13 to ~27 on a steady rise, almost exactly like we've just experienced. From Dec it just kept right on steadily rising, peaking at ~48 in March '97.

Back then, all we had were "hopes" on this new K6 idea. Of course, the stock crapped out at 48 because of general over-optimism on the realities of a K6 ramp-up and quickness to profitability. This time, though, we've got real product, real expectations, consumer acceptance, and rising fundamentals.

Jerry's throwing out sales numbers like $3.7B in 1999, $4.4B in 2000, and $5.8B in 2001...if he's anywhere near right this time around, we've got us a MAJOR growth situation here. A lot of those increasing sales dollars must fall right to the bottom line.

Looking at the big-picture, the stock is just gonna keep right on rising just like '96-'97. Unless the world economic story deteriorates, we could get 45 by mid-March again. By the start of 2000, why not earnings prospects of $4 per share and the stock at $100?

regards, Dan
