yes,That is why Yamana will open up at less than $1.This is a sweetheart deal for Cannacord. They could have waited to announce a financing after results are in for Bacon and Lejano.

Based on the very optimistic statements from Richard Walters on February 18th 1998 I continue to have great expectations for Yamana but I am getting fed up with this constant dilution with no ozs in the ground resource at Lejano or Bacon.I most certainly expected another financing but I figured it would occur at much higher levels than $1.
By the way Richard Walters said "Based on current metal prices,we're looking at rock with a gross value of between US$100 and US$300 per tonne. There's little question in my mind that ve've the makings of a low -cost,high margin silver and lead mine. What's not yet clear is just how big it will be."

Elizabeth will have an opportunity to cover this week.
On the topic of shorting, according to the short interest position as of October 30th as printed in the National Post this weekend,Yamana is not listed. The short interest tables only list stocks with a short position greater than 50,000 shares or a change of 25,000 shares.
