Brings up another question. He was talking about the growth in M3, though. So, if M3 was growing into the runup of the markets prior to the Sept and Oct troughs and has ceased growing at the same rate something else has changed -- foreign repatriation of funds -- into the stocks and/or treasuries and back to foreign destinations?

I mean, the market was going up and the money supply was expanding at the same time before. Now the money supply is expanding more slowly while the market is going up. Am I missing something more important here?
