john... I can't imagine why you think DELL will decline.
It may base for awhile, but DELL has too much going for it to decline in a rising market which we will see.

BTW, have you seen DELL's commercials on TV? About the CEO whose responsible to his shareholders for results, and turns to DELL because he knows they provide more than PCs. They provide solutions, and dependable PC systems. It's a very powerful ad.

More and more companies are turning to DELL as the preferred quality vendor for their hardware. Their appeal is to large companies, small companies, the government and education. Businesses that need reliability, quality, service, and value. And guess what, the people who work in those companies want DELL in their homes!

I recently visited some universities (where my daughter is applying). Guess what they're buying? Dells. The company I work for is converting to DELL. The vendors we do business with are buying new DELL laptops and love them. I'm seeing DELL everywhere. DELL's customers say that DELL has the best product, price and service. I hear it over and over. Word travels very fast from satisfied customers.

Yes, I'll agree that the internet stocks have a lot of momentum right now, but institutions, funds, and individuals that are true investors want companies they can depend on quarter, after quarter, after quarter. You'll be able to depend on DELL. You might as well make sure you have the best in your portfolio and keep your DELL for the long haul. Spice up your portfolio with some internet stocks, but they're speculative and you'll have to watch them closely.

Dell is just getting into high gear and I'm sure you wouldn't want to miss out on its stock's continued advancement.

regards,
Laura
