Yes, I sold my portfolio on Monday and, in retrospect, left money on the table. Overall, I imagine the portfolio would be up around 20% in the past two days...a fact you apparently find worthy of special mention.

I'm going to clue you in. I sold Yahoo and Amazon and AOL more than 20% from their highs in July, and again this time. That's two times this year. I have a 260% gain for 1998, and I'm up over $1 million in the past nine weeks. Selling seemed the natural thing to do.

Is that coherent enough for you?
