Vaporware?
This stock is in some real trouble my friends...I have started following the company and the deeper I get into things the more I wonder how much of a "product" is really out there.
If this "crypto" was so strong, doesn't ANYONE here think that the news media would have picked this up...I mean 128 bit vs. 4096 bit? Doesnt take a genius to see which would be theoretically stronger....I say theoretically because I believe that the encryption algorithm that they are using may not exactly be what they say...if so, why has it taken and continues to take so long for the company to even get a REAL contract?
Take a look at their website...there's no real information about anything and it doesnt look all that updated...take a stroll over to RSA, Verisign and you'll see the difference....those companies started out small too but when they felt they had the best they came out and said it (not only that but een when they were small their sites were updated)...not yell it from behind the bushes....
This is my take on all this and I am sure that some people will disagree, feel free to, its your privelige. I do think that people should question this company more than "hope" for press releases and sales....I think one of the other posters hit it on the head--SALES matter! Heck, I could come up with a processor that runs at 2 Gigahertz but what good is it if I have zero customers.
Barrie, if you talk to the Jaws people regularly, I think that they need to make a full fledged marketing campaign if that have any HOPES of even COMPETING in this marketplace...lets face it, encryption is serious business.... Jaws should reinstate the contest for $5 million immediately if they are still THAT confident, but at the same time they need to make a huge public statement...Wall Street Journal, The NY Times....THESE are the publications people read and where if you are really sure of yourself you have the chance to shine Think of the audience and the customers you reach...decisionmakers, CEOs IT people, the crypto community..etc...no disrespect to the Canadians but the Calgary herald just doesn't impress me, (nor am I am regular reader of it)
All I am saying is that you have a company here who says the best encryption in the WORLD is worth .16 cents a share and you can techically buy us out under $2million....makes no sense does it...?
