try to follow your own instincts and don't let other people tell what or how to trade cause there is no one system that works for everyone. Trust yourself since you know what your goals are but you don't know whether the intentions of others who post or advise around these threads.

As far as LOGC, I wouldn't have sold it since you had a large loss and the potential risk from here is low, especially since the NASDQ is in an uptrend and is expected to stay so for the next few weeks. But that is just my opinion. To get the tax benefit you need to say away from this stock for 30 days before you pick it up or else it ends up being a "wash" sale. Typically when I take a tax lose, I would sell a stock that is down and buy a similar stock in the same group to make sure I don't miss out on an upmove in the group... so think about that in the future.

As far as IMPX is concerned, enjoy the ride but be careful, these things have been known to end very quickly, and when you see a drop of 1 or 2 points, everybody starts wondering whether it is just a short correction or the end of the party... I tend to stay away from momentum investing since I don't use a broker who does decisions for me and since I cann't keep track of the stock movements on a hourly or a minute by minute basis.
