I was at the Norex Minesite in the 1980's, just after shutdown. I was doing some due diligence for Fortune Mineral Limited, who still hold their mining leases adjacent to us. On a walk along the old mining road, I saw an unusually dark rock on the road. Upon closer inspection is saw that in reality it was a white rock strung with wires and pieces of silver. The dark colour was due to the black tarnish on the otherwise shiney silver.

I still carry that piece around.

One of our directors, L.J. Manning was mine manager at Terra during the development and mining of the Norex. We have looked at plans and sections and scratched our heads on this one. Looks really nice on paper. After a few beer and we'd probably have a concept.

I've been in contact with a few associates that have dug more than a few holes in their time up in the NWT. The current down turn has a benefit of freeing-up some really great people. After a few scotch we'd probably have a plan, or maybe even have it all mined out.....on paper.
