I agree Europe will benefit both from a currency standpoint and from a more open economy. But I do not think Europe will overtake US as leader in world economy. Simply put, US is by far the leader in information technology and from where I am standing, there is no shift in that leadership. Historically, Europe (and Japan) may have an edge when technology is commoditized, when production power and efficiency is the sole concert. But none of the US tech gorillas would like to see their intellectual property became a commodity and will try to keep it proprietary.

Within a few years, we may see a few more cases of international IP dispute like what's happening in the QCOM world.

In a bull market, I would put my money in US.
