Landrush, as per the WSJ article, it appears that Synt plays the numbers game and always intends to beat the estimates. So I expect .15 minimum - a 50% increase over 1998.

One of the problems these companies have is showing consistent qtr to qtr earnings, something Desai has stated that he intends to achieve. There are various accounting methods that can be used intra year, yr to yr is less easy so I am looking for a significant boost.

As for stock price - you may be right, maybe being on a par with its peer group is wrong - as the report points out, 1999 growth is now projected as being inferior to the peer group. But I wouldn't bet on it when the results come in !. In any event, its well factored into the existing price, and the calculation would actually make it a 28 dollar stock, so I guess I was subconciously playing it down myself when I posted !!!!.

At the end of the day .... I have to believe the upside potential to this one is far greater than the downside, so I consider the risk minimal.

Thanks for your post .... you are pointing out facts, not offending anyone .... I wish we had more posters on the thread quite frankly ....

Anyone done TA ... ??

Thanks and regards

Stephen
