I just attended a Dataquest presentation on the Semi Industry. They thought the Taiwan Foundry's were still heavily overcapacity and their 1999 spending would decline significantly from 1998. Also, while they think we have hit the bottom, they see a very gradual recovery. I love Asyst, but I think it has gotten ahead of itself again.
