I noticed in the article AMD confessed it was "first silicon". Nonetheless, here is in fact an eye witness report. This is not what you would call a public demo but at least someone has seen it. Exclamations of "daaa wow!!" while watching a Godzilla DVD flick is not my idea of a meaningful benchmark but again, at least it's a start. Maybe Katmai will get 2 "daaaaa wows" but it's not really an apples to apples. Keep those K7 reports coming!!! And lets hope for better benchmarks... EP
