Update On the Atlanta Market When the month started the Atlanta Urinal And Consitpation reported 2,000 cable modems deployed in the city. Since then @home has done a 200,000 piece mailing. Also.. Media One is now offering packages bundling LOCAL PHONE High speed access Unlimited Access Long distance entertainment Bellsouth says they have made DSL available to 500,000 customers in Atlanta. I say BULLSHT. I don't know anyone that has qualified for a DSL line. IMHO,, I would not expected anything from Bellsouth until they have a solution for the DLC. Without the DLC solution they can only offer DSL to 3 of 10 lines. With a DLC solution, they can expand the numbers to 8 of 10 lines. What's funny Bellsouth will send 2 Techs to a consumer home for a full day to hang a disk for the wireless cable. But they bitch and moan about unloading coils for a DSL line. I surely hope these Stupid ShT Bell Exec wake up before they get their lunch eaten.. accessatlanta.com
