Druss, thank you for the response. I enjoy your choices of food to make a statement with. As American as key lime pie. I can see it now. I agree with what you say. In reality key lime pie is more American than apple pie. If you go out to a nice dinner and have desert almost always key lime pie is a choice while apple pie is not. In fact apple pie has almost be relegated to being the exclusive desert of the all American restaurants: Big Boy's, Cracker Barrel and Denny's. A lot of my thinking in starting this site was to question the status quo; because I think it is changing. Obviously, status quo in America is the continual changing. But, I think there is more going on than that though. The Internet is putting a new twist on the, if I can use this word, "traditional" relationships we have. Arguably before the mass introduction of the automobile the human relationship was relatively simple. It was common for two people to meet and marry that may have only lived within only a few miles of one another. Since the invention of the automobile, train and plane the boundaries for our potential relationships have grown to become the world. Now with the introduction of the Internet we may have reached the limit. The only boundary left is that some people do not have computers yet. But, I question where or not this will actually increase the level of our relationship building. It may actually only allow us to find and communicate with people who share our like-minded ideas and habits. I think that the computer will do as many expect it to do. That is providing people with the ability to work at home and hopefully spend more time with their families. I think that logically this will in turn allow people in the long run to once again develop closer relationship with their immediate and not so immediate family members. Just an idea, not quite sure where it is going. What is your opinion, Brent
