I have a feeling that a couple years from now, Netscape and IE's browser technology will start being replaced by interface developped by network companies, or a consortium of device manufacturers.

After all, why would you restrict yourself to Microsoft's outdated Windows technology to access information on a network ?

I think Microsoft's lock on the market is over and will progressively be dismantled. The negative implications for KP companies that revolved around the Wintel paradigme will soon emerge.
