Re: "BTW, I am suprised at how much you are anticipating K7 info, almost as much as an AMD person (hmmmm, Intel people are called Intelabees, what are AMD people called?)"

AMDites.

I am anxious to get information on the K7 just like everybody else. I expect it to be a very good chip. However my belief is that the hype has been overdone, just like the K6 was before it's introduction as well as the K5 before that. All unknown chips are superchips until the facts come out. The K7 will be no different IMHO. What annoys me are the loudmouth people (not pointing at you) who make wild claims and yet provide no proof to backup those claims. This is dishonest in my view. I believe AMD is sincere when the say the K7 will be the fastest x86 processor when it is introduced. It's just that what they really mean is that it will be faster that what they THINK Intel will have at that time. I believe they are wrong. Time will tell who is right.

Let the games begin and may the best system win!!!
